Stuff Up The Cracks
River Fury + Tokyo Tea Room + Keplar
Entry Requirements: All Ages
Easter Island and Painted Halo present: Stuff Up The Cracks - a Canterbury labels showcase night with 3 brilliant bands!
Their latest single Wasteful was hailed by Clash as “a stellar offering, the concise guitar riffs matched to a punk energy and some deft songwriting moments”, and with their new EP out 30 November, River Fury are ready to take over the world. Raw and exquisitely beautiful harmonies intermingle over driving post-punk pandemonium. Is their bag your bag too?
Tokyo Tea Room
Bursting with dreams of endless summer road trips and 60's nostalgia, Tokyo Tea Room are an alternative rock quintet born in Kent from a dark and slightly damp basement. Currently working on their follow up release to their second EP ‘Another Place Another Time’, possibly premiering new material?
A three-piece garage/progressive surf-rock group from Canterbury, formerly known as The Spanish Infanta. A punk band at heart that doesn’t hide behind ‘authentic’ lo-fi sound. Their upcoming EP is a blend of garage, surf and grunge – all delivered with the hard edge & determination of punk rock.
Tokyo Tea Room from Canterbury. Visions of fuzzy guitar tones, ocean deep vocals and an essence of psychedelia, a quintet born in a dark and slightly damp basement.
